FADING INTO SILENCE

Fading Into Silence is a metalcore/post-hardcore project shaped by electronic influences and years of musical experimentation.

The project was founded by bassist Zara and drummer Ivan after more than twenty years of playing together across different bands and genres. Their journey took them through metal, with extensive tours across Europe, the United States, and Russia and shows alongside bands such as Fear Factory and Soilwork, before moving into punk, dubstep, and future bass. Over time, those different experiences came together in a project that finally felt like their own.

From the beginning, Fading Into Silence took a different path from that of a traditional band. Zara and Ivan wrote, produced, and recorded the entire debut album themselves, building the music and identity of the project before completing the lineup. Once the record was finished, they found Alex, whose voice and creative approach immediately felt like the missing piece. Two guitarists joined soon after, completing the band.

The release of their debut album, followed by the single “Waking Up,” helped Fading Into Silence reach a wider international audience and led the project to join the roster of Los Angeles-based distribution agency Arson Theory, alongside artists such as Shadow of Intent and PeelingFlesh.

Now preparing for a new run of live shows, Fading Into Silence is working on its second album, scheduled for release in 2027.
